Better two weeks late than never...on Eric's birthday Avery, Reagan and I decided to surprise Eric by taking him to the new Golden Coral. Sounds prettyhillbilly, huh? It was but Eric LOVES the place. We go there every time we're in Fl and he has been so excited about them opening one a few miles away. Then on Monday, we had cake (actually lemon meringue pie per Eric's request) and carrot cake that I have been wanting to try my hand at. Eric's parents, my parents and our sibs and sib in law came over. It was a low-key and super easy celebration. Reagan had Scout for the week (preschool class mascot)so he/she was a guest at the celebration as well.
