This school year has brought with it the realization that those baby days are long gone, never to return. Avery is not only reading at a second grade level, but in the highest spelling group in her class. She brought home greater than and less than math works, getting 100%. Wasn't thatlike second grade stuff, back in our days?? Reagan is recognizing words and growing into the most compassionate little preschooler. Her greatest wish in life is to have a baby to care for and whose diapers she can change. I get about fifty questions a day about when she and Avery were babies. SOmetimes about my babyhood as well. We meta woman in Meijer yesterday who was Turkish. wehad to chase her downandtalk to her, of course, because she had a baby with her. After a short conversation with the woman, Reagan asked me what she is, when she talks. She wanted to know what language she speaks. These kids are learning so much every day and becoming such awesome little people both academically and emotionally...as Avery would say, they ROCK my socks!!

I hear ya loud and clear. Luckily, I have two babies to make up for losing my two big ones. Anytime you need to feel that baby love, c'mon over. And anytime I need a diaper changed, I will be sure to give Reagan a call!
