I am so relieved to say that the move into the new house and starting at our new school has gone really well. As soon as we moved in Avery and Reagan started hanging out with Mia, who they had met while we were building the house. She lives a few doors down and hangs out at our house all the time. The day school started, Avery was excited to meet people and she was so confident. Reagan was really worried and scared but it didn't last long. That same day we learned that one of her closest friends at the gym cousins lives right around the corner and is in first grade. Reagan and Leana became fast friends and every day I hear of friends from both of the girls' classes. I was fully prepared to deal with them having trouble adjusting to the new school and missing the old house but this home, neighborhood and school has felt like home from the beginning. Of course, spending time with friends from the old neighborhood and having friends close by the new one has helped us all feel more comfortable too. Looking forward to meeting more people and making our place in our new community.
