Special Person

At one o'clock, the waitingwas finally over. After weeks and agonizing weeks of asking me when she will be special person, Reagan got her day in the sun. She decided long ago that on her day she would bring the mineral that dad found on a house boat trip when he was a kid. She heard about minerals on Sid the Science Kid and remembered that there was one in Eric's office so over the weekend, we made up our three clues 1)shiny 2)my dad found it onthe ground 3)type of rock and the mineral finally made it to preschool. In addition to her snack, Reagan wanted to bring ring pops for her class since they were celebrating her summer birthday as well. When Reagan walked out of school today she was sporing a darling little pink crepe paper hat. Unfortunately, I didn't thinkto bring my camera and she wouldn't let me take a picture of her once we got home. trust me when I say that she was stunning in her birthday hat and cupcake badge!
