Dead of Winter

People living in the South have no idea what the term dead of winter really means. Some days, it is easier, although not better for the soul, to sit in the house all day. I got out for a while but Avery and Reagan have been in all day...and it shows. I spent the day either explaining to Avery why backtalk to mommy is not appropriate or breaking up physical fights between the two girls. They had a few loving moments though. They are currently upstairs dancing to "The Muffin Man" and "Veggie Tales Theme". Reagan says, "Hit it Avery!"and Avery pushes play. It's pretty cute.
