Eric and I took Avery and Reagan to the beach a few weeks ago. It was the first time we had gone in two years. The first time in my adult life that the beach has been open. I will admit that we took the kids in the water. Might sound nasty but they had such a blast. Especailly Avery. That kid couldn't get far enough from us. The water fun came to an abrupt halt when a dead fish surfaced a few feet away. Avery and Eric spent some time searching for shells on the sand while Reagan made a sand castle. All three of them found some boys who needed help burying themselves in the sand so that was part of the fun too. And, of course, we had to spend some time spalshing in the sprinklers.

Looks like fun! We went last year, but the weather hasn't cooperated much for beach, pool, water on my days off.
