Daisy

Since Romeo left our home (and got a great home with a grown woman and her mother) Reagan has told me on a daily basis that she missed "that little puppy". She sometimes cries and I am convinced that her month long melt down was due to Romeo leaving. We have been telling her that we would get another little puppy, one that wants to live in our home, in the Spring. We couldn't hold out until Spring so I checked out Petfinder.com and fell in love with this little Basset/lab mix. We knew we were going to get a lab mix this time because Austin is such a great dog and we felt more comfortable with a breed that we trust. We made the right decision. On Wednesday night, we went to the foster home to pick up our seven week old baby and she immediately fell as in love with us as we did with her. She is affectionate and smart and is far more interested in the humans of our pack than she is with Austin. That is a good thing because she knows where her food and protection come from. Daisy has been with us for four days and already heads to the back door (sometimes) when she has to go potty. She does run sometimes in the other direction when the cold blast of outdoor air hits her, but who can blame her? She is a great little dog and have you ever seen a cuter puppy mug???
