No more political anxiety!
Eric's political anxiety is gone! After hearing a comment from someone who thinks that the current president is responsible for their current situation, I realized that 1.) The comment was totally ignorant, 2.) Kim and I have done well for ourselves in the past 8 years not because of who was president, but because of us, and 3.) It doesn't matter who wins the presidential election tomorrow. Kim and I are responsible for ourselves and our family and no president will change that. Senator Obama cannot make your life better, and neither can Senator McCain...we make what we want of our lives. Yes, we are still voting for Senator McCain and if he wins we will pray that he makes good decisions for our country. And if Senator Obama wins we will do the same. We know that 1 year from now, we will not be saying "can you believe how much better President McCain/Obama has made our lives?" WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT!!! Now go out and vote!

So very true, Eric!! What we want in a leader comes from God, not in a man. We have to trust that HE will guide the nation and he has plans for us. We will be praying for our president; regardless of who wins.

I'm so glad that Eric came to that epiphany. i think a few years would have been added to his lifespan if he would have stopped stressing few months ago : )
