Eric sometimes lays with Avery or Reagan before they fall asleep and asks them what they want to thank God for. The other night, Reagan responded, "Thank you God for putting me in mommy's tummy and helping me get out. Thank you for mommy having my big sister and thank you for making my mommy and daddy." Nightly, this child volunteers to say the prayer before dinner. Most nights she thanks God "for God", for "this wonderful world" and follows with a list of family members. She really has great insight on what is important.
