Jack O' Lantern

Avery wanted to carve a pumpkin so badly afterseeingUncle DJ and Aunt Rula's so she and I went out the other day and picked a great pumpkin. For the next three days, she asked continually if we could carve it but it was a busy three days so after school on day four, she was really excited to finally carve her design with dad. She told him that it is really nice to carve the pumpkin, just the two of them. We made some roasted seeds out of his brainsthat were really yummy too. By the looks of Jack, we will need to replace him before Halloween. I wonder if Avery would enjoy the experience with mom or if only dad gets the deep feelings from Avery?? Gotta love that little five, going on 30!
